Yes. You can get crochet hair wet. It's not recommended to leave crochet braiding hair in water for long periods of time because the natural oils that are in your hair may be depleted, and cause your crochet braids to tighten. And there are a few simple things to consider. After you have shampooed and conditioned your hair as usual, allow the hair to air dry before you begin styling it. There are also shampoos available for curly/coily hair that will leave your hair moisturized and manageable.
Here is our 1st answer for this question: Crochet Braids involve pulling your hair tight in an upward motion. This process pulls the natural oils and moisture from hair, which can lead to dryness. Therefore, it is important that you use a deep conditioner after each install, and before you remove the braids. In addition, you should try a natural oil to supplement your routine. We recommend coconut oil as it does not leave excess residue on the hair unlike other oils.
The experts at MythBusters decided to put this claim to the test. In their experiment, they found that for straight hair, rinsing with room-temperature water seems to work better than cold water. Oils in the hair act as a coating from dirt and other pollutants, so they need to be loosened before you can rinse them away. Cold water causes your pores to shrink closed, making it harder to penetrate through your hair and dislodge any gunk or buildup that's in there.
Wavy, frizzy or curly hair can look charming but also annoying. A question many women wonder about is how to fix curly frizzy weave. There is a couple of ways to deal with the frizz. One way is to wash your hair at night and let it air dry… this will help with the frizzing. Another, if you must wash in the morning use a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner only, do not add any type of gel, mousse, mouse or other product. This will weigh down your hair and cause more frizzing.
Is it better to perm and color first? In most cases no, however if you are a "high lift" and lift to extreme levels you should color first. What is "high lift"? High lift occurs when the stylists is lifting the client's hair up over an inch higher than normal and using extreme force. This puts that much more stress on the hair shafts breaking many more. Now some say that the breakage is because of coloring and others say it's because of perm. I say this all depends on who you ask. Anyone who has ever perm'd knows a breakage is always expected for some.
A: 950 in weave color is usually defined by a color name or a color code. The terms "Natural" and "natural" are often used as synonyms for natural white color, but these are not standardized and may not always mean the same thing. Technically, the term "Natural", when referring to fabric, means that the fabric has been unwashed and is free of any chemicals like optical brighteners.
Hairspray is good for wigs because it helps to hold the wig firmly. Hairspray was originally used as a way to hold up women's hairstyles in place.  You can purchase hairspray or you can make your own mixture that will work just as effectively. Brandywine Aerosol Wig Spray. Anything Style you're trying for, this water-soluble hairspray from Brandywine retains your hair securely in place. Revlon Finishing Spray for Artificial Hair. Brandywine Non-Aerosol Wig Spray. Jon Renau Holding Spray. BeautiMark Style & Hold Hairspray.

A dry perm is a waterless permanent. It doesn't use traditional water for processing, and instead uses an intense yet gentle heat process that creates short, soft, and silky results in minutes that last up to six months. A dry perm is a new way to add curl and volume to straight hair, all while eliminating frizz. The way it works is that the stylist brushes out your hair to remove any old styling product, then blow dries your hair with an ionic dryer which creates a uniformed surface. They then add a thermal protection spray and flat iron your hair with infrared heat. After that they start curling.
When you buy a wig, there are many options you get to choose from. There are two main kinds of wigs: capless and lace wigs. Capless wigs have hair wefted right on to the netting, while lace wigs have hair that hang from a stretchy lace at the base of the wig. A capless wig has a snug fit, closed back, with soft breathable lace material on the front.  Lace wigs tend to have a more natural look; with stitches and knots visible.  If you have fine or thin hair, you would probably be more comfortable wearing a lace wig vs. a capless.  Capless wigs work well for fuller head of hair as they give more volume at the top of your head.
The closure is a vital part of your hair weave more so than any other hairstyle. You want to ensure that it blends in with the natural hair in such a way that you can't tell. Your closure should be the same texture and length as the rest of your natural hair when you wear it in its natural state. Otherwise, you risk looking like you have fake hair or drawing attention to the fact that you are wearing a hair weave. Frontal Or Closure:Closures are generally 4 x 4 inches, so you'll want to use no less than two packages with your closing. Since the frontal will pay for a huge part of your mind you may normally only need 2 -- 3 packages based upon the length and style.

Sew-in or Crochet. Some people prefer the ease of sewing-in because you don't have to know any new techniques, all you need is the hair and a needle. Others prefer crochet because it gives you more versatility with how you can arrange your hair (curls, flips, etc.) due to its looser natural state.  For a more structured or laid look then crochet is better. The stability of the knit does not allow for movement which makes stitch definition soft and fuzzy. Crochet on the other hand shows off stitches much better because yarn overs but be stretched out when work is in progress allowing for individual loops to be seen.
There are a variety of possible causes for itching under your wig. It could be allergic dermatitis, caused by contact with an allergen like latex rubber, soap or even shampoo or conditioner you have been using. Contact dermatitis may be related to excessive sweating under the wig. The dermatitis can be localized to the face (around the eyes and mouth) or more generalized to the scalp that is directly under the wig.
Whether your natural hair is short, long, kinky, curly, or wavy, one of the most common concerns when wearing a weave is tangling. Weaves tend to tangle towards the back because hair tends to be weaker in that region of the head mainly due to exhaustion. This is a common problem with weaves. Your natural hair is most likely growing into your weave. To avoid this, try securing your hair underneath, away from the anchor points of your braids or weave. You can also use a satin or silk pillowcase which will not tighten on your knots and/or tangle.
